Anne Cabrie is an award-winning photographer. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Art from the Victorian College of the Arts in 1993. In 1992,as a student, Anne Cabrie won the inaugural Felix H.Man Memorial Prize from the National Gallery of Victoria. Winning 1st prize of 10,000 provided the opportunity for Ms Cabrie to pursue her goals of working in New York at the prestigious Magnum Photos Agency.

Ms Cabrie has worked on various commissions by Australian magazines such as HQ, Rolling Stone and TIME and has worked for photographers and filmmakers including Steve McCurry ( Magnum Photos) , Matt Mahurin(Mortal Films) and Jonathan Stack ( Gabriel Films). She was a producer and agent for leading agency Proof Photographic Agents ( representing Bob Frame,  Alan Richardson , Mark Seliger ).

Ms Cabries recent works include exhibitions Primary (2000) and American Party (2007) and she co-produced and directed Frenchy , a 6 minute experimental documentary which screened at St.Kilda Film Festival and Best of the Rest, Tropfest.

Ms Cabrie's photographs are in the permanent collection of the National Gallery of Victoria, Australia.
